Memories....

Hello friends. :)
Don't hate me, I'm sorry I haven't blogged!
This blog is devoted to memories.
I don't know if I'm the only one that associates certain things with different people. And sometimes when you see this particular thing, the memories come flooding back. Well, I have felt this feeling alot and especially here lately. Just certain things that I see or smell, or touch or read, it reminds me of a memory. Its just crazy to me that something so simple as a color or a smell can make all of these emotions come running back.
Some of them not so welcome....
You know, the ones dealing with this boy you really, really liked and just the smell of where you were when this was all going on. Or colors. Or a really funny story that you told your friends and laughed until you cried. The smell of the air, if it was summer or fall.... I associate the color turquoise with my parents divorce because my bathroom in our old house was turquoise. (I'm telling y'all...I'm weird) OH! And when you have an embarrassing moment and you remember the smell. Gosh, I could go on and on.....
But, it is so awesome to me to think that a simple smell or whatever can take you back to a place where you can remember, and often times enjoy the people or the place in your memories.
Now, these are some simple, short things that jog my memory daily.
(And often times, taunt.) ha ha.
-the color midnight blue
-silver
-Fall
-the beach
-the color black
-chicken spaghetti
-Sonic
-the color red
-chocolate chip cookies
-New Orleans, LA
-the sound of cereal being poured
-hairdryer
-the song "Grillz"
-Spring
-fresh air
Gosh, I have SOOO many, but some I just cannot put on here! ha ha....
TOO embarrassing.
I hope you all read this and it brings back memories to you!

Merry Christmas, Friends.

Well, we all see how well I stick to a plan...ha ha
That poor Blog challenge came at a bad time.... I AM GOING TO FINISH IT! (one day) :)
You know, I started the challenge and I really thought I could handle school, theatre, homework, practice, friends, my jobs and BLOG too. Obviously, I was WRONG. ha ha...
This is the semester has been my hardest one since I've been in college, but this upcoming one will be the true test.
24 HOURS. (prayers are appreciated)
But I will find time to blog. promise. :)
I came out of this semester with a 3.6 so, I was satisfied.

I did Dinner Theatre again this year and I am so thankful for that. It has really made my college years so much better. I absolutely loved it. And the people that were in it with me. :)
Here's a picture of Dinner Theater this year. It was Dearly Beloved...

SO thankful for this. Y'all will never know. :)

I hope all of you had a beautiful, wonderful, happy, fabulous Christmas. I sure did. I woke up this morning to an extra surprise....

A White Christmas!

It was wonderful. We played in it after we looked at what Santa brought! :)

Of course, we got EXTREMELY too much. We are SO blessed.

Gracie Bug got alot, I can't even remember what all she got...

Hayden got an XBOX? I guess that's how you spell it, and alot more....

And I got a GPS. And it is SOOOO nice. Apparently Santa didn't want me to get lost when I move to Columbus next year...ha ha
Christmas this year has been wonderful, but all of the hustle and bustle tends to weigh the holiday down, and makes me hate it and I know I shouldn't and I wish I didn't. But I must admit, I am ready to see the New Year and allllllll that it holds. It's going to be a BIG one for me. I am nervous, anxious, excited, scared, worried, stressed, and happy all at the same time.
I'll be moving 2 hours away from HOME and MAMA and I won't be able to come home every weekend and I'm turning 21 this upcoming year. So scary, but I'm ready for this next stage of my life.

Any who, this is already going to be a long post but I MUST talk about what I gave my mama... :)

Okay, so I was having a horrible time figuring out what to get her. So I made her a scrapbook, and I must say that was probably the BEST decision I have made in a LONGGGG time. She LOVED and cried and cried and cried. I think she really loved it, and came at a good time. Needless to say, I am VERY proud of that Scrapbook.

This is the picture from our Christmas card this year... :)

Well, this was my fabulous Christmas. I am so blessed.

Merry Christmas to all of you who read my Blog! I hope your day was filled with laughter and joy. :)
Love you all.

30 Day Blog Challenege: Day 4 -"My Parents"

Hello Everyone!
I honestly can't believe I have actually followed through with this challenge! Of course, it is only day 4....haha

Day 4- My parents

My
Parents
:)
These are my parents. And I love them both very, very, very much.
My parents are divorced so, I dont really have many pictures of us together. But, these will suffice.

Both of them are very special to my heart and I'm glad I got to do an entire blog on just them. :)

30 Day Blog Challenege: Day 3 "My First Love'

Day 3
My First Love
Hmm..... Love. What a strange word.
It can be a word used for good.
It also can be used in a bad way.
I feel, sometimes, Love gets put on the back burner in our everyday lives.
Love is used to describe happy and romantic and sweet emotions.
Love is also used as a middle man and is abused. Such as relationships that are going wrong, the phrase, "It's not you, It's me. I love you too much to hurt you".
blah, blah, blah.
Well, I personally haven't found my "First Love" yet. He, whoever "he" is, hasn't reveled himself to me. And I am learning DAILY to accept God's timing in this situation.
This is a very tender, sweet topic for me. As well as many of my close friends. There is a small group of us who are all in the same boat with the "boyfriend-will-come-in-God's-sweet-timing" situation.
We all are struggling with wrapping our minds around "God's Timing" and "God's best for us". But somehow, we learn to accept it.
But that still doesn't stop me from dreaming. And boy, does my mind wander...
Of course I've had my fair share of crushes and thinking that I was in love with these boys.
Gosh, the entire time I was in middle school, I had a HUGE crush on this one boy. And I thought I really loved him. I was just infatuated with him. Everything revolved around him. I just remember how devastated I was when he confronted me and told me that he didn't feel the same. I honestly thought my world was crumbling.
How young and naive I was.
I pray daily, sometimes even hourly, for God to send him to me.
And I just have faith that he will when it's my time.
blessings.

30 Day Blog Challenege: Day 2

Hello bloggers!
I apologize for not blogging yesterday, but I will make it up. :)
30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 2
"Explain your blog title."
Well, The Diva Life in College is the complete essence of ME. I am a DIVA and I LOVE being a Diva. ha ha. :)
I'm just kidding. The Diva Life in College was originally meant to be a memoir of my life while I'm in college. I'm in my 3rd year so far, and I'm not doing a great job of sharing my life on here.
As a full-time college student, I have a lot of decisions to make and some are coming really soon. :/
But, this blog was just meant to keep all of my stalkers up-to-date on my life.
Stalkers that include: my family that live far away, family who live really close, and nosey people. I don't care. :)
Any who, THIS is The Diva Life in College.
I hope you enjoy.
Have a great day! :)
caity.

Day 1.

This is the very beginning of my Blog challenge and I hope to get some special lesson from it.

Such as: Don't procastinate or you will be a failure. Something ballin' like that.

I am a Speech Pathology major and will transfer to Ole Miss in the fall.
HOTTY TODDY!
My hair is HUGE. Like, abnormally large. Its big and curly. And I LOVE it.

Well, this is me. And I cannot wait to dive right into the challenge!
